The 2018 vintage was presented with a low rainfall in summer to reach full maturation in early October. It was aged in French and American oak barrels for 18 to 24 months. Intense dark ruby color in the glass. Aromas of black fruits of undergrowth in syrup, dotted with spices provided by the wood, intermingling hints of black licorice with roasted. The depth on the palate is remarkable, as well as the persistence of the wine, which we come to express as caudalías. With a mellow first contact, the tannins expand giving a fat and tasty sensation, with a noble finish and a very powerful aftertaste. The wine's acidity augurs a slow evolution in the bottle and assures a good longevity.
